Laren McClung is the author of Between Here and Monkey Mountain (Sheep Meadow Press 2012). She received her MFA from New York University. Her work has appeared in or is forthcoming from Harvard Review, The Massachusetts Review, Cerise Press, The American Reader, PN Review, Poetry, and elsewhere. She was awarded a Teachers and Writers Collaborative Van Lier Fellowship, as well as a Goldwater Hospital Writing Workshop Fellowship for which she led workshops to permanent residents at Goldwater Hospital on Roosevelt Island. She is co-editor of an anthology-in-progress, Inheriting the War: Poetry and Prose by Descendants of Vietnam Veterans and Refugees, and she teaches at New York University.
