Christopher McEvoy received his MFA in Painting from Boston University. He later spent a year as the Starr Scholar at the Royal Academy of Art in London. McEvoy has exhibited his work in various group and solo exhibitions in London, Boston and New York. Recent solo exhibitions in New York include Liminal States at the Wells College String Room Gallery and Transformer at the Earlville Opera House Galley. He has been awarded multiple grants and fellowships, most recently he was awarded a Scholarly and Creative Arts Faculty Grant from SUNY Oswego, as well as artist residency fellowships at the Ragdale Foundation and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. McEvoy is currently an Assistant Professor of Art and the Coordinator of Painting at the State University of New York at Oswego. He lives and works in Oswego, NY.
